Horn Bamba Bowl
Artisans in eastern Africa craft our Bamba bowl from ethically sourced, repurposed Ankole cow horns. Inspired by the beauty of these discarded horns and eager to reduce byproduct waste, the artists found a way to turn waste into functional art. In the process, they created jobs and helped the local Ugandan economy. Each Bamba (Swahili for ‘hold’) bowl is a one-of-a-kind, thanks to the uniqueness of each animal. Because of the individuality of the cattle, your Bamba bowl may differ in shade, shape and size, but we guarantee it will be as beautiful as the model depicted on this page. Because of the organic nature of the Bamba bowl, we recommend hand washing and immediately drying with a soft towel. The bowl pairs well with our Sadiki salad servers, made from the same ethically sourced ingredients.
