Meaning “wrap” in Swahili, the kikoi is a traditional, super-versatile garment from East Africa that’s become famous throughout the world. You can use this cloth to wrap yourself up or lie out at the beach; to wear as a head wrap or even a dress; to swaddle your baby; to throw over a chair or sofa at home; and much more.

By South African producer Mungo, the garment comes in two colorful striped patterns that run the length of the garment, with a finished seam on the long side and an eyelash fringe along the short side. Each kikoi is designed and woven in South Africa. As you sport this cloth, you’ll be contributing to a worthy cause: 1% of Mungo’s annual turnover is donated to social causes in the community of Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.
